Welcome to the Strathcona Residence.
A luxury home should be a sanctuary, an effortless reflection of how you live, delivered without the usual friction of renovation. For the Strathcona Residence, HAUS Interiors took the kitchen, dining and living spaces, primary suite, ensuite, bathroom, laundry and office from the first floor plan to the final reveal. Design, procurement, project management and installation ran through one concierge workflow, so every fabric, finish and floor plan was handled with care.

Phase 1 · Design
Function and feeling
Functional and conceptual planning.
Each project is built from the ground up around two of our three key pillars, function and feeling, setting the foundation for a space grounded in intention. Deliverables: floor plans and furniture layouts (technical 2D scaled drawings for space planning) and the look and feel (a conceptual mood board for the proposed design direction).

Phase 2 · Development
Form, piece by piece
Selections and elevations.
In the second phase we explore the third design pillar, form, curating a distinct selection of products and materials to realize the chosen layout and direction. Elevations are technical 2D scaled drawings showing configurations, sizing and finish combinations for custom millwork and every reconstructed element.
Phase 3 · Finalization
See it before it is built
3D renders, the IFC drawing package and the full production costing.
In the final design phase we create the final visuals and the issued-for-construction (IFC) drawing package, and provide a comprehensive production costing: every product, trade and logistical cost needed to deliver the project.
Phases 4 to 6
Procurement, construction, installation
Project management from the first order to the final reveal.
Procurement
- Vendors: purchase orders, payments, order tracking and consolidation
- Trades: subcontractor agreements, deposits and permitting
- Every order placed with the right stakeholders
Construction
- Site preparation: protecting what stays, then demolition
- Materials and trims delivered for each trade
- Every trade scheduled and supervised, with deficiencies closed out as each scope completes
Installation
- Furniture delivered with white-glove service, coordinated on site by your project manager
- Decor and accessories installed, with final styling by your designer
- Then the reveal and handover

Where things get a little messy
Site preparation, demolition, rough-ins and rebuild.
