Do I need a completed design before hiring HAUS Interiors for project management?
Yes. This service is for homeowners, designers, builders and architects who already have design plans and selections. If you're starting from scratch, our full-service interior design covers everything from concept to final reveal.
I'm an interior designer, builder or architect. Can HAUS Interiors manage the build for my client?
Yes. Designers stay the design lead while we manage procurement, trades and site supervision, building your drawings and specifications exactly as drawn. For builders and architects, we act as a dedicated interiors partner, taking on interior scope, procurement and trade coordination within your larger project schedule.
Can I bring my own contractors or trades?
To protect quality, scheduling and liability, all trades on a HAUS Interiors project are subcontracted through HAUS Interiors under our own subcontractor agreements.
Are you licensed, insured and bonded?
Yes. HAUS Interiors is fully registered and licensed, carries comprehensive insurance and is bonded, which protects you throughout the renovation.
How long does a managed renovation take?
Most projects run about 14 weeks from project review to handover, depending on scope: roughly four weeks of planning, four weeks of procurement and trade scheduling, and six weeks of construction and completion.
How is the project management fee calculated?
It's a sliding percentage of production costs that decreases from 20 percent to 10 percent as the project grows, covering ordering, trade coordination and site oversight.
How are changes handled during construction?
Through formal change orders. We agree on scope, cost and timing with you before any change proceeds on site.
Who is my point of contact?
A dedicated project manager from the HAUS Interiors studio, so you always know who to call and nothing falls between departments.
How do I get started?
Send us your drawings through our contact page. Your project begins with an engagement retainer of $5,000 plus GST, which is credited in full toward your project costs and covers the detailed review and costing of your plans.
