Design inspiration
How much does an interior design consultation cost in Calgary?
A HAUS Interiors design consultation is $500 plus GST, one fixed fee with nothing added later. It covers our preparation, a dedicated two-hour working session in your home led by Project Director Michael Anderson, and a written proposal within five business days. If you sign your Service Agreement within 30 days of receiving your proposal, the $500 is credited in full to your design fee.
What happens during the consultation?
We walk every space in scope with you, review your floor plans and inspiration, and talk through how you live, what isn't working, and what you want the home to become. We leave with a clear design direction and defined next steps.
What happens after the consultation?
Within five business days we send your written proposal: your brief and goals, a mood board and design direction, design fees room by room, estimated production costs, the payment schedule and a timeline for each phase. When you are ready to go ahead, we issue your Service Agreement and the creative work begins.
How long does the full design take?
The design phases, from concept to 3D renders and final costing, take about 10 to 12 weeks. A full-service project from discovery call to reveal typically spans 16 to 28 weeks.
